About me:
Ian is a researcher based with APEx (Exeter Collaboration for Academic Primary Care) at St Luke’s Campus. He currently works on the CanTest project, focusing on improving cancer diagnosis in primary care settings by investigating new and improved diagnostic tests and ways to integrate them into the current diagnostic pathways. He has also recently worked on a project funded by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) involving the development and implementation of the International Survey of People Living with Chronic Conditions (PaRIS survey). Previously, he worked on a National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) funded programme of work developing and piloting methods for the routine use of Patient-Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs) in primary care for patients with multiple, long-term conditions. Prior to this, he contributed to a number of other primary care-focused projects involving socially marginalised groups with complex physical and mental health needs.
