Public Health and Sport Sciences
I am a Lecturer in Public Health Policy, and work across the School for Public Health Environments Research at Exeter (SPHERE), which is the University of Exeter’s membership in the NIHR School for Public Health Research; the NIHR-funded Exeter-Cardiff-Birmingham Public Health Review Team; and the Peninsula Technology Assessment Group, which provides high-impact health policy advice to the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence.
Prior to this, I worked as a Research Associate at the Wolfson Centre for Young People's Mental Health at Cardiff University, where I conducted population-based research to understand the rise in youth depression and anxiety. This involved using large prospective and longitudinal cohort studies to examine change across time and development, focusing on both risk and protective factors.
